Guppy Meds provides asynchronous and synchronous telehealth consultations that connect patients with licensed healthcare providers. Our services include medical intake review, provider consultations, prescription management, and coordination with licensed compounding pharmacies for medication fulfillment.
Telehealth allows patients to receive medical care remotely using technology, enabling access to licensed providers without in-person visits. Our model is designed to be convenient while maintaining the standards of care expected in a clinical setting.
To use Guppy Meds telehealth services, you must:
Some medications may have additional eligibility requirements based on clinical criteria determined by the prescribing provider.
All healthcare providers on the Guppy Meds platform are independently licensed physicians, nurse practitioners, or physician assistants holding valid licenses in the states where they practice. Providers are credentialed, insured, and subject to continuing education requirements.
Guppy Meds does not employ providers directly. Providers operate as independent practitioners and are solely responsible for their clinical decisions, including whether to prescribe any medication.
After completing your medical intake form, a licensed provider will review your information and determine whether a prescription is appropriate. This review typically occurs within 24–48 business hours. If additional information is needed, the provider may request follow-up via secure message or video call.
If a prescription is issued, it will be sent directly to our partner compounding pharmacy. Medications are shipped directly to your address in discreet packaging. Shipping timelines vary by location, typically 3–7 business days.
As a patient using our telehealth services, you are responsible for:
All consultations and health data are protected under HIPAA and handled with strict confidentiality. Our platform uses end-to-end encryption for all communications between patients and providers. We do not record video consultations without your consent.
You have the right to receive a copy of your medical records and to request corrections to your health information. Please see our Privacy Policy for full details.
Telehealth services and prescribing authority are governed by state law. Guppy Meds currently serves patients in most U.S. states, but availability may vary by service type and medication. We are unable to provide services in states where telehealth prescribing of compounded medications is prohibited or where we do not have licensed providers.
If services are unavailable in your state, you will be notified during the intake process and will not be charged.
